BIOGRAPHY Jim Ireland has been connected to the arts for most of his working life. He had a long and successful careera as graphic designer, which explains the very graphic nature of his work. In later life he started to paint. Jim is an artist who paints memories, incidents, past and present, snippets of visual information that he locks away and allows to surface when needed. You won’t find Jim, with canvas and easel before him, brush in hand rendering the moonlight over lake Muskoka, no way.
